1. Customer Identification & Verification

Customers may be required to provide valid identification documents, including a passport and/or Emirates ID, for verification before or during the rental process.

First Ride Bicycles Rental reserves the right to refuse a rental if the required identification or verification cannot be completed.

2. Bicycle Rental & Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for the bicycle and any accessories provided during the rental period.

The bicycle must be used responsibly and only for lawful purposes. The customer must not sell, sub-rent, lend, modify, or transfer the rented bicycle to another person without prior permission.

3. Bicycle Condition

Customers should check the bicycle before starting their rental and immediately report any existing damage or mechanical issue to First Ride Bicycles Rental.

The customer may be responsible for damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or improper use of the bicycle.

Normal wear and tear is not considered customer damage.

4. Security Deposit

A security deposit may be required depending on the bicycle, rental type, location, and booking.

The applicable deposit amount will be communicated to the customer before or at the time of rental.

The deposit may be used to cover damage, loss, missing accessories, or other charges resulting from the customer’s responsibility.

5. Rental Period & Late Returns

The customer must return the bicycle within the agreed rental period.

Late returns may result in additional charges according to the applicable rental rate and the circumstances of the delay.

Customers should contact First Ride Bicycles Rental as soon as possible if they expect to be late.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation and refund requests are subject to the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy of First Ride Bicycles Rental.

Different conditions may apply depending on the booking type, rental location, bicycle type, and time of cancellation.

7. Accidents & Damage

The customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of the bicycle while it is in their possession.

In the event of an accident, damage, theft, or loss, the customer must notify First Ride Bicycles Rental as soon as reasonably possible.

The customer may be responsible for repair or replacement costs where the loss or damage resulted from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.

8. Theft or Loss

The customer must take reasonable precautions to prevent theft or loss of the bicycle and any accessories.

If a bicycle or accessory is lost or stolen while under the customer’s responsibility, the customer may be liable for the applicable replacement cost.

9. Safety

Customers are responsible for using the bicycle safely and following applicable UAE laws, road regulations, cycling rules, and safety requirements.

Customers should use appropriate safety equipment and exercise caution according to road, weather, and traffic conditions.

10. Children & Minors

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for minors using bicycles rented from First Ride Bicycles Rental.

The parent or legal guardian must ensure that the bicycle is suitable for the child’s age, size, and ability.

11. Prohibited Use

Bicycles must not be used for:

• Illegal activities
• Racing or competitive events without prior permission
• Dangerous or reckless riding
• Carrying passengers where the bicycle is not designed for passengers
• Activities that may cause unreasonable damage to the bicycle
• Any use that violates applicable UAE laws or regulations

12. Weather & Operating Conditions

First Ride Bicycles Rental may recommend delaying, changing, or cancelling a rental when weather or other conditions create an unreasonable safety risk.

Any applicable refund or rescheduling will be handled according to the company’s Refund & Cancellation Policy.

13. Company Rights

First Ride Bicycles Rental reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate a rental where there is a reasonable concern regarding customer safety, misuse of equipment, failure to provide required identification, non-payment, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.

14. Personal Information

Customer information and identification documents are handled in accordance with the First Ride Bicycles Rental Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to Terms

First Ride Bicycles Rental reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version published on the website will apply to future bookings and rentals.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By completing a booking, making a payment, collecting a bicycle, or using a bicycle rented from First Ride Bicycles Rental, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
